Mont Saint-Michel
From Omaha Beach we drove to Mont Saint-Michel. It was an abbey that has been used since at least the 6th century. We visited at low tide and were able to walk all the way around the abbey. Someday we will be back during high tide.
You park a ways from the abbey and can either take a bus, horse drawn carriage, or walk. We chose to walk.
