Western Nebraska Road Trip - Day 2
Day two of our road trip took us from Alliance down past Chimney Rock and to Scottsbluff. From there we headed to Agate Fossil Beds and up past Crawford, NE. We spent a few hours in Fort Robinson and then headed into Chadron for the evening to wait out a tornado warning.

The road to Agate Fossil Beds is a bit desolate
While there were no dinosaur bones found at the site there were several mammal fossils found. Apparently the area was once a large water hole.
