Western Nebraska Road Trip - Day 3
From Chadron we headed to Toadstool Geologic Park to start the day. After some hiking there we headed back to Fort Robinson to spend some more time in the park since our previous day was cut short due to a tornado. From there we headed east toward Valentine and stopped at a few state parks and even a winery in the Niobrara Valley.
Getting to Toadstool is a bit of a journey in itself. On our trip we happened to pass through a cattle drive.

As we were leaving a few other cars pulled in.
We headed back to Fort Robinson to spend a little more time in that park. We ended up hiking the Mexican Canyon trail.

After Fort Robinson we headed to Chadron State Park.
We did do some tomahawk throwing but were too focused to take any photos
